A.  Information you submit via the quotation page will be checked against the laptop you send in to us.

B.  On submitting your laptop information we will send you a confirmation request and also a unique number, this number is your reference number for your laptop(s)

C. When we receive your laptop our team inspects, if all ok and matches the information that you submitted and you agree with the quote we then send you a cheque to the address that you gave during the information submission, a cheque will be issued by laptops4cash within five working days of receiving your laptop.

D.  If your laptop is not described as in your submission, we then will inform you via email and explain any problems. This may affect your original quote from us, if so we will send you a reviewed quotation. No offer we make is binding upon we receive your laptop and check it matches with your information.

E.  If you are happy with our quote, we will send you a free box with address label, take it to any post office and send it to the address on the box. Make sure you package and secure the laptop so there is no movement.

F.  When we receive your laptop(s) and you change your mind or the information has not matched with the laptop you have sent in, we will send back. Please note there is a £30 cost for delivery and administration costs.

G.  By agreeing to the terms and conditions and by shipping to us your laptop, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the laptop. We do not accept stolen or laptops that do not belong to you.

H.  If the laptop we receive from you is not as described in the form you sent us we may possibly not buy and could lead to a surcharge of £30 plus the postage cost of sending the laptop back to you.

I.  Quotes sent from laptops4cash are pending evaluation of your laptop and no binding offer is made until we have had a chance to inspect the laptop or other device that you send to us. We reserve the right to refuse to offer to purchase any item that you send us for any reason we deem, in our sole discretion, to be sensible.

J.  Many factors are taken into consideration when inspecting your laptop and giving quotes, such as age, manufacturer and model, wear and tear, whether the laptop is usable and or intact in nature and other elements that would affect its resale value or costs of repair to the device. If we decide not to purchase the device, you will be given the option of a reduced quote or allowing us to recycle the laptop, if you agree to us recycling your laptop no payment will be received from laptops4cash and no cost will be sent to you.

K.  You are solely responsible for any harm that comes to the laptop that you send us, if you fail to use appropriately package or incorrect packing then your laptop will be sent back with a £30 charge (administration and delivery charges) or the damage taken from the quote we sent you.

L.  When the laptop becomes laptops4cash, all data will be destroyed on your hard drive. If you require any data from the laptops hard drive we can download to a blank CD/DVD photos, documents, work files etc please let us know via email through our contacts page. This service is a cost of £40 which includes the work carried out, blank CD/DVD and postage. We can also download all your data to an external hard drive within a caddy, this allows you easily to plug the hard drive caddy into any other laptop or computer. This service is £95 including the hard drive and caddy.

M.  Lawful Sales Only. You must own the right, title and all legal interest in the laptop or other items you send us. Your sale and or shipment of any such item must not infringe any law, regulation or statute of any authority. You may not unlawfully transfer or encumber any intellectual property, trademark, copyright, patent, software, license or other legal right or restriction via your shipping or selling of the shipped item. The item you ship must be free of all legal restrictions that would affect the value of the item, restrict your legal right to transfer ownership of the item (including the item itself, software present on the item, or hardware on or inside the item). You must refrain from violating any export laws or restrictions. The laptop you send (including all related materials, software and add on hardware) may not be counterfeited, stolen, or contain harmful or offensive content of any nature. You agree to hold us harmless and indemnify us from any and all loss of any nature, including fees, costs, judgments arising from any threatened or actual legal action should you breach this term and condition of this Agreement.

N.  Failure to Return Product or Contents Thereto. Under certain limited circumstances, at no fault of ours, we may not be able to return your item and you agree to hold us harmless from any loss regarding our failure, when outside of our control, to return your laptop or other item to you. We will never under any circumstance duplicate or return any software or data contained on your laptop or other device.

O.  Legal title of your device passes to us when we agree to pay you the originally quoted amount as shown on our website or you agree to accept a lower offer that we make to you. All payments are sent as established by our normal course of business. If we do not agree to accept your product by way of purchase or as a machine to be recycled, then title does not pass to us. Title for all devices accepted for recycling passes to us when you agree to allow the device to be recycled. All decisions about whether or not we purchase your device and for what amount are final. Any offer to purchase your laptop or other device that we make is a non-transferable offer and also expires if not accepted by you in a timely manner, as described herein. At any time we may decide, without prior notice, to discontinue purchasing any particular or all items.

P.  Errors. Should we make a material error in any representation of facts, information or offers to you, your sole recourse is to request the return of the item that you have sent to us. Your ability to request the return of the item elapses upon your receipt of the payment we issue for your item. In the event that you elect to cancel the transaction prior to receiving our payment, we will return the item to you upon your request. An administration and delivery fee of £30 will have to be paid before the release of the laptop.

Q.  Entire Agreement. No Waiver. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. Captions are used only as a matter of convenience and have no legal import. No waiver by us regarding any breach or default shall be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default. Our website or other publications and communications may contain errors. We reserve the right to correct any errors in writing or orally with you.

R.  Modification. We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time without giving you prior notice. Your use of our website, any of our tools and services, following any such modification constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Agreement as modified. The last date these Terms of Service were revised is set forth below. Terms and conditions modifying the Agreement are effective immediately upon publication.

S. Although with every effort we will try and complete your laptop within 7 days, on busy periods could be upto 14 days or more.

T. If you are willing to send your laptop using your own method of shipping (ie Post Office or other courier service) we can only refund if you send us the receipt. We need the receipt to put through our accounts, a scanned image would be acceptable. A maximum of £10 will be paid for the shipping a laptop to us. Normal Post Office services charge between £7.77 - £8.55 per average weight of a laptop.

BY CLICKING ON THE "SUBMIT BUTTON”, YOU AGREE THAT ANY ACTION AT LAW OR INEQUITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL BE FILED ONLY IN COURT LOCATED IN U.K., HEREBY IRREVOCABLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY CONSENT AND SUBMIT TO THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OF SUCH COURTS OVER ANY SUIT, ACTION, OR PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
